Travelers seeking refuge in a remote area of the town find themselves imprisoned within a haunted motel, where their host compels them to confront the hotel's most terrifying scenes. It's 1997. Travelers from far and wide stop at an odd and enigmatic inn on the outskirts of Java, Indonesia. Among the guests are a couple seeking a place to stay the night together and a family seeking a place to stay following their grandmother's funeral. But as the house guests quickly discover, nothing at the Inn is what it seems, and they are stuck there forever. The hostess, Madam Melati, intends for the spirits that check into her doomed motel to stay there forever. We soon discover Melati's troubled past and the real reason for her connection to the inn, all in the midst of the continuous horror. But Melati's shadowy past and antiquated customs are soon upended when two neighborhood tow truck drivers try to rob the eerie house at night. The drivers quickly realized they had made a serious error. They unintentionally let loose a far more powerful evil that has been stashed away in the inn's dark corners when they become entangled in a deadly game with the house curse.
